About Loudoun Gateway station
Loudoun Gateway is one of the two Silver Line stations that opened at the far western end of the line, in the office and logistics belt just past Dulles Airport. It is built for parking: more than 2,100 spaces in a garage next to the platform, sitting between the airport and the Ashburn terminus. The station serves the airport-adjacent employment corridor along the Dulles Greenway – air cargo operations, data centers, hotels and business parks – rather than any residential center. Riders here are mostly Loudoun County commuters heading east toward Tysons, Reston and Washington, plus airport-area workers. It is an unhurried, low-density station with an unusually generous parking garage.

Nothing much is within comfortable walking distance, and the design assumes you arrived by car or by connecting bus. - This is not the airport station – Dulles International Airport has its own stop one station to the east.
- The garage is very large and rarely fills, which makes this a practical alternative if the Ashburn lot is busy.
- Buses connecting to the wider Loudoun County network use the bays beside the station, so check schedules before relying on a connection.

No. Washington Dulles International Airport has its own Silver Line station with a covered walkway to the main terminal. Loudoun Gateway is one stop west of it, in the surrounding business corridor. If you are flying, stay on the train until the airport stop.
Around 2,115 spaces in the garage beside the station – one of the biggest facilities at the western end of the Silver Line. It is a reliable option even later in the morning peak, which is not always true of the busier Maryland park-and-rides.
Not a great deal on foot. The station sits in an airport-adjacent corridor of business parks, data centers and hotels rather than a town or neighborhood. Almost everyone arrives by car or connecting bus, and there is no walkable retail cluster at the entrance.
Ashburn, one station further west, is the western terminus of the Silver Line. Loudoun Gateway is the second-to-last stop. If you are choosing between the two for parking, both have large garages, so pick whichever fits your drive better.
