About Downtown Largo station
Downtown Largo is the eastern terminus of the Blue and Silver lines, a large park-and-ride station in Prince George’s County with more than two thousand parking spaces and two entrances. It was known for years as Largo Town Center before being renamed, and it functions as the main transit gateway for the eastern side of the county. Nearby are a substantial shopping center and the county’s newer regional medical center, both a short walk or a very short drive away. Being a terminal has a practical benefit: trains lay over here, so boarding is unhurried and seats are usually available even at peak.
