Morgan Boulevard exists largely because of what happens a mile up the road. It is the closest Metro station to FedExField, and on event days it handles crowds far beyond its everyday scale, with people walking the route to the stadium in a steady stream. The rest of the time it is a quiet suburban Prince George’s County stop on the Blue and Silver Lines with a lot of a few hundred spaces and residential streets around it. The station is named for Garrett A. Morgan, the inventor and businessman, and sits on the boulevard that carries his name. Two entrances serve the platform, and bus connections handle riders from the surrounding neighborhoods.

- This is the Metro station for FedExField – budget close to twenty minutes each way for the walk, and considerably longer in the crowd after a game.
- Expect long lines at the fare gates and on the platform after major events; buying or loading fare before the game saves time.
- On a normal weekday the lot is manageable, which makes this a reasonable park-and-ride if Largo is full.
