The western end of the Silver Line lands in Loudoun County at Ashburn, a station built for drivers and buses rather than for foot traffic. Four entrances connect the elevated platform to parking garages on either side of the Dulles Greenway, with more than fifteen hundred spaces in total, and the surrounding landscape is the office parks, data centers and new residential blocks that have grown along the corridor. For commuters this is the outer anchor of a very long ride: the trip east passes Dulles Airport, Reston and Tysons before it reaches Arlington and downtown Washington.
