About Clarendon station
Clarendon is the most sociable station on Arlington’s Orange and Silver line corridor. It opens onto Wilson Boulevard in the middle of a district known across the region for its restaurants, bars and street life, and the platform empties in bursts on Friday and Saturday evenings rather than only at rush hour. Three entrances distribute riders around the Clarendon Boulevard and Wilson Boulevard split, with a small central park directly above the station. There is no Metro parking, which is deliberate: this is a walk-up district by design, one of the standard examples cited when planners talk about building density around transit rather than around highways.

- This station gets genuinely busy on weekend evenings; if you are traveling with a group, agree on which of the three entrances you will meet at.
- There is no Metro parking – use commercial garages or arrive by bus, bike or on foot.
